Good afternoon, Members!  I hope everyone is enjoying preparing for all the upcoming holidays!  I just had some end of year reminders for all members.

First, Tammy Penn, your 2012 Vice President, has started preparing and sending email blasts.  These emails will come from GLPA and have all announcements, upcoming events, etc.  They are so informative and much more fun to read than a boring email!   If you have not received any so far, please contact someone on the board

You can now obtain the application from our website and renew your membership.

If you are interested in a PACE Scholarship, the application must be in by Tuesday for the drawing on Wednesday.  You must be present to win and please review the qualification requirements on the application.

Please remember to bring donations to the December luncheon for the Step By Step program, the GLPA philanthropy Holiday project.  Everyone donating will get their name in a special drawing!!

The blood drive is Friday, December 9 from 9-12:30 in the Multi-purpose room of the Circuit Courthouse.  Let’s show the Fayette County Bar Association up by having a good turnout!! And, remember that the holidays are normally bad for the Blood Center because donations are always down.  This is such an easy way to help many people!!

GLPA Raising the Bar Cookbooks are here and for sale!!!!  They look great and have many many recipes!  Perfect for a gift or stocking stuffer.  They are $10 each.  See any board member.  They will be on sale at the December luncheon.
