Greater Lexington Paralegals Association - Attorneys

Attorneys

The GLPA is working diligently to promote the working relationship between paralegals and attorneys in law offices, corporations and government agencies. A few of the services we offer to attorneys are the job bank, the newsletter to keep firms informed of current paralegal issues, CLE lunch meetings for your paralegals and many more.

WHAT IS PACE?

PACE is the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam which was created by the National Federal of Paralegal Associations to respond to the possible regulation the paralegal profession is facing through certification, licensing, or other means. PACE offers experienced paralegals an option to:

  • validate their experience and job skills;
  • establish credentials; and
  • increase your value to your organization and clients.

As the only exam of its kind, PACE

  • was developed by a professional testing firm;
  • is administered by an independent test administration company;
  • tests concepts across practice areas;
  • offers the profession a national standard of evaluation; and
  • offered at multiple locations on numerous dates and at various times.
